Namaskar, Jai Hind. I am Havildar Malay Bandyopadhyay. My child is a student here at the South Point Institute (SPI). The 15th August activity here completely changed my idea of what it is. Previously, I've been to many places where the activity was merely hoisting the flag, distributing some sweets, or giving a short, formal speech before concluding.The school focused on educating the children about the freedom struggle and inspiring them to think about how they can progress in the future. I was highly impressed by the Science Exhibition where the students demonstrated their abilities. I observed that even if there were some small mistakes, the effort and the desire of the children to learn and perform were evident, realizing that these were the steps that would lead them to success tomorrow. Seeing the immense efforts of the school and the hard work of the children, I felt very good. I am extremely pleased and it was wonderful. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat.
